    Hi Jason,

A question here. How did you create the list? (You mentioned it is a "monthly highlight of popular Chinese" viral brand videos in the period.) W'hat's the criteria for you to define the "popular"?
  • Hi Lyn, thanks for your comment.

In general, I have two criteria to define "popular". 1) the # of views of each clip on video sharing sites. 2) the times that each clip being re-pasted/mentioned/discussed on social networking sites, forums, and blogs.

I collect these videos manually based on a regular research. Honestly speaking, EYES ON ME is still in a preliminary stage. I cannot make 100% sure that I won't miss any one, but I can ensure all the listed clips are popular online and they are worth digital marketers' attention.

Nobody is doing such systematically in China, so I believe something is better than nothing. What do you think? :)
  • Kai
Dude, that Parkour girl is CUTE! LoL. This promises to be a great series, Jason, especially since Youku Buzz doesn't update consistently. Keep it up!
  • Hey Kai, thanks for your words :) I promise I will keep it up.

BTW, do you subscribe to Youku Buzz Newsletter? (http://www.youku.com/about/newsletter) It has a monthly update on popular online videos. It features 1-2 viral video every time.
