Position: Digital Media & Social Media Specialist (Shanghai)
I left my position Digital Strategist & Manager of Social Media in Razorfish at the beginning of this month and is now joining Waggener Edstrom Worldwide as Digital Strategies Lead, China.

On last Saturday night, Christian Dior unveiled Nouvelle Vague-inspired 2011 cruise collection in a massive tent along Shanghai’s celebrated Bund. The show coincided with the reopening of Dior’s revamped boutique in luxury shopping mall Plaza66 and the inauguration of a retrospective exhibition.
In addition to those “Parisian chic”, how to make a big impact on Internet, where new generation of Chinese ladies spend more time on?
Recently, Forsman & Bodenfors made a creative social media campaign for IKEA to promote the opening of the new IKEA store in Malmö.
The campaign started with creating a profile page of the store’s manager, Gordon Gustavsson. Then Gordon uploaded 12 pictures of store’s showrooms to his photo album. Within a two-weeks period, the person who tagged their names on a product first can won the item. Through the campaign, people gladly added their name to an “interactive IKEA catalogue” and spread to all of their friends via FB profile page, newsfeed, links, etc……
I feel honoured that IN2marcom is featured by Adam J. Schokora on Edelman Digital’s “Friday 5″ weekly newsletter in last week as a recommended English language blog for people who what to know social media, online marketing, and digital trends in China.
I position IN2marcom as a blog all about innovative and insightful marketing communication around digital and social media in China. The content on this blog is dedicated for Mainland China since I am based in this region. Nevertheless, I would like to share with you two great social media reports from global. McDonald’s is currently running its summer campaign called “见面吧 | Let’s Meet Up” on Xiaonei. The campaign is aim to persuade consumers invite their best friends to meet-up offline in McDonald’s restaurants during this summer holiday. McDonald’s provides various discounts, coupons, and cash to campaign participators as the direct incentive.
At the same time, KFC launched an application called “吸乐无穷| Drink Joyfully” on Kaixin001 for the summer holiday promotion. The meat of the app is actually similar as the massive popular app “House & Garden”. Within this app, users can interact with their friends through “suck” each others’ virtual KFC drinks…….
I came across a new viral video by Ford tonight. In the video, some young people let a remote-control car run across bottles to make music, the theme song of the popular video game Super Mario Bros. The originality is probably copied from a video clip of a foreign guy who makes music by rollerblading across bottles.
At beginning, actually I didn’t aware that this is a viral video. Nevertheless, at the end of the video, it highlights a URL – www.excitechina.com.cn. Driven by curiosity, I entered this URL and then it forwarded to www.ford.com.cn, the Chinese official website of Ford China……
On June 24, the movie “Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen” will make it debut in China. It is one of the most expected summer movies. As the main sponsor, Chevrolet has launched a series of digital engagement programs recently by leveraging the strong popularity of the movie, especially the CAMARO Bumblebee……
