Intel Core i7 Viral Videos – “Puzzle Bobble” & “Tetris”

Few days ago, I wrote a post about Nokia’s latest viral videos by magician Liu Qian. Similar as Nokia, other IT/digital companies are never unfamiliar with Internet, gaming, and viral marketing. Last week, I watched Intel’s latest viral videos for its Core 2 Quad processor through Youku Buzz. This series of video, under the slogan “If You’re Going to Play, Play Big”, is pretty funny. The theme is about some classical video games, which is highly relevant to Intel’s current marketing efforts on the gaming……

Nokia Viral Videos by Magician Liu Qian

Liu Qian (刘谦), the Taiwanese magician, has been super popular since his awesome and impressive tricks on 2009 CCTV Spring Festival Gala. Recently, Nokia picked up Liu Qian as the new spokesperson and released a series of video ads performed by Liu. In addition, Nokia also distributed some viral videos featuring Liu’s tricks with Nokia E71/N85 as the magic props. Very cool stuff! Nokia’s great efforts on making viral video (esp. by popular spokesperson) and holding the cutting-edge interactive online concert in China indicate that the global mobile phone giant will keep involving deeper in the China social media……

The new app specifically enables users easily repaste and share any kind of content (post, picture, video) with their friends. Now, most of my friends on Kaixin001 are repasting interesting thing everyday. Some awesome stuff have been repasted by almost everyone. First Interactive Online Concert Held by Nokia and Youku

On Sunday, April 19th, 19:00, Nokia held the 5800 XpressMusic Interactive Online Concert on Youku. It is the first (maybe just in China) cutting-edge concert which broadcast on live on Internet. During the broadcast, the audience could choose their favorite visual angles by clicking 4 different live streams, they could vote for their favorite performers, they could also play with the virtual “flower”, “applause”, and “kiss”. Yesterday, Youku showed some statistics for the concert. The results are pretty impressive……

Chinese Young People Run Their Small Business via Social Media

In my daily work, I am being involved pretty much in clients’ social media marketing (SMM) strategy planning. SMM sounds like a latest and trendy marketing approach run by high-profile marketers and prime brands. During the time companies and agencies are still struggling how to deal with the SMM, Chinese young people are already skillfully (although not systematically enough) using social media for everything in their life and even business……

Social Media Indexes for Digital Campaign

Last week, I wrote a post “Four Steps to Review The Success of An Online Digital Campaign”. It’s an introduction of a four-steps approach to review the digital campaign from various perspective, including digital media, social media, and branding.

Media and/or Digital Agencies are usually responsible for the analytics of step 1 and 2, since they have third party web tools to get such data from the minisite. Step 4, some Research Agencies have the capability to do that. However, for step 3, it’s really a new area for everybody, even those social media agencies……
